Event makeup at MakeupByGen covers everything that isn't a wedding or a quinceañera — birthdays, milestone anniversaries, baby showers, gender reveals, brand photoshoots, corporate headshots, gala nights, holiday parties, and "just because I want to feel beautiful tonight" appointments.
Standard event makeup is $100 per person and includes a clean, photogenic application designed for the lighting at your event. Trial sessions for events are also available at $100 if you want to test a look before a big shoot. Hair styling can be added at $50–$100 per person depending on the style.
We work in our Washington Terrace studio or on-site at your event venue. For brand and corporate clients, we can arrive early and stay through the shoot for touch-ups. For private clients, most events book a single morning appointment that lasts you through the night.
Travel for event makeup follows the same rates: $25 flat for Northern Utah, $300 for Southern Utah destinations. Multi-person events (4+ people) often qualify for discounted per-person rates — message us with your headcount and we'll quote you accordingly.
